13-mile one-way scenic drive past red and cream sandstone. Good short stops: Calico I & II viewpoints, the Sandstone Quarry walk, and High Point Overlook. October light is ideal.

The "Neon Boneyard" of restored vintage Vegas signs, lit up after dark. Pairs well with Fremont.
